The Highlight of the  7^th Round was the game between the two Joint Leaders of the Mtel Masters Shakriyar Mamedyarov and Krishnan Sasikiran. Mamedyrarov , who lost his 6^th round game to Gata Kamsky came determined well prepared to fight his opponent.
